We activate a new service on a spare port on your fibre box (usually port 2). Your current provider is not cancelled automatically.
A short overlap, not a gap
Your current internet usually keeps working on the fibre box until you cancel it. Short overlap is normal and safer than a gap.
You cancel your current provider
You still cancel your current provider yourself. Nothing is billed until your service is live.
